A true test of golf - all year round
Our course, often described as an Inland Links, retains many of the features designed by James Braid when he remodelled the course in 1927. Built entirely on sand and gravel, this heathland course is free draining providing genuine year round golf on springy fairways with fast and true greens which are frequently described as the best in the West Midlands.
Accuracy and a good short game are the key to good scoring as the course provides a true test of golf for the keen golfer whilst offering golfers of all abilities a good round of golf on a fair course surrounded by the beautiful South Shropshire countryside.
